Hi, I'm Kerim, creative engineer from Frankfurt, Germany.

I have a passion for creating immersive web experiences and enjoy leading cross disciplinary teams to innovate and deliver.

following my fascinations

It all started with a childhood love for gaming, which sparked a curiosity for how digital worlds are created. This curiosity drove me into learning programming and digital design, eventually focusing on web development over 20 years ago. That initial fascination has never wavered.

In my most recent roles as Technical Lead and Frontend Architect, my focus was shaping techstack architecture and design systems, implementing build automation, and guiding engineers through complex product goals. This involves ensuring the technical foundation supports a high-quality visual result. Whether working with static layouts or designing in code, I combine clean, accessible UI with purposeful motion to transform ideas into living digital experiences.

I am driven by the constantly evolving nature of the web, always looking for the next technology that helps me bridge the gap between logic and imagination.

My mission is to craft scalable design systems where accessibility and performance are first-class citizens. I prioritize creating modular components that not only provide a seamless experience for the end-user but also offer a clear, intuitive developer experience for the teams maintaining them.

    While I primarily focus on creative coding, I'm also experienced in various design tools to help bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation. I value simple content structure and clean design patterns, aiming to build immersive web experiences with fluid motion, 2D/3D visuals, and sophisticated interaction. By understanding both the designer’s intent and the engineer’s constraints, I ensure that complex designs are translated into performant, accessible code without losing their artistic integrity.
